Our bodies are completely different as I'm overweight and do not exercise at all but the episode that youre describing sounds EXACTLY ,to a T, what I went through for 3 years before me and my team of doctors could figure out. I really hope that you get some kind of notification for this comment because my story really might change your life for the better. One night I was just hanging out and then BAM! out of nowhere I get this stabbing/crushing/burning like pain underneath my left boob.. maybe kinda centered.. just all around discomfort.. I went straight to the ER, had an EKG said I was fine... they told me it was heartburn.. I'm like.. I know what heartburn is and this is NOT heartburn.. I took the meds they gave me, didnt work for shit.. I suffered with this pain and panic and around 20 ER visits and numerous family doctor (including nuclear stress test on my heart) just to find out, 3 years later, that is was in fact, heart burn... but the astonishing thing is that I dont get your normal everyday heartburn, I get acid so bad in my stomach that it literally makes me feel like I'm having a heart attack. I sweat, I can't breathe, there feels like theres an elephant standing on my chest and since I have SO much acid in my stomach and esophagus, that I experience really hard esophageal spasms which causes the hard hitting pain (which makes me feel like I'm being stabbed, being speared, can't breathe ect.) so the doctor almost tripled my medication and today I have it under control. The slightest thing I eat sets it off.. sometimes what I drink.. so I take my medication, for the most part, every day and my life has dramatically changed for the better. I hope this helped..
