Hi alejandra,
Are you seeking prenatal care with a doctor on a regular basis? How often do you have appointments?

You should be speaking with your doctor about your symptoms, and your doctor should be telling you what to expect throughout your pregnancy. If not, do you have any "what to expect" pregnancy books? I will send you a few helpful links in a moment.

In the third trimester, all of the symptoms you describe are normal. It is important that you make sure YOUR specific symptoms are normal for YOU and YOUR pregnancy. However, for MOST women, the third trimester is extremely taxing on your body. You do not sleep well. There is no comfortable position to lay, sit or stand for very long. Your hips might hurt. Your feet may be swelling. Your bladder is being pressed down upon, and you need to urinate frequently. You can't breath as well because the baby is so big and is taking up your lung space as well. You truly have an "invader" in your body! :-)

It is also common for women to have sensations that the baby is pressing down, but PLEASE make sure this is normal for you, and not an indicator of a premature labor and delivery. There is a lot of pressure on our groins, hips, bladders....everything from the belly button and below. If you feel like the baby is coming out of your cervix, you need to call your doctor immediately.

I would love to hear back from you! I just had my second child 5 months ago, and being pregnant is still "fresh" on my mind! I did have my first baby at 33-weeks gestation, a preemie, so please know that you need to listen to your body, and if something does not feel right... call your doctor right away. Don't second guess yourself. There are many different physical sensations in pregnancy, and most of them are uncomfortable, unfortunately.
