Thanks for your question. Any time you have sex without birth control, there is a chance you could get pregnant. There are varying opinions about how long you should wait following taking birth control to try and have children. The information my OB/GYN gave me was to wait until you have a full normal cycle. But as I said, I bet you'd be a handful of different answers from different doctors.
Are you under the care of a doctor for your irregular periods? Is your husband a doctor? Do you have any other conditions? How long has it been since you had your first child and have been having irregular periods? I think I may be a little confused by the information you provided,so if my questions don't make sense, please excuse me. If I'm missing something here, let me know.
