Anon - I'd like to help you help your friend, but it's really not clear what she has. Do you know if she has stomach cancer or does she have a blood cancer? These are very different. Stomach cancer is also referred to as gastic cancer, and like many other cancers is described in stages, so I'm not understanding what you mean by her "counts." In the meantime, I think you probably want to know how you can help your friend as she goes through this. None of us are really trained for this, and it can be awkward and difficult knowing what to do.
