Anonymous, the answer is YES. What you breathe is what your baby breathes. You are the baby's only source of fresh air.

Any smoking during pregnancy can have bad effects on your baby. It reduces birth weight and has even been linked to psychosis in children: https://www.empowher.com/pregnancy/content/smoking-pregnancy-linked-psychotic-symptoms-kids. Smoking can also cause stillbirths, congenital heart defects, and preterm delivery.

Smoking pot is not safer than smoking tobacco. In fact, you likely deprive your baby of more oxygen smoking pot because you breathe in deeper and hold that breath with toxins in it longer.

Pregnancy is only for nine months. Anyone who wants a child can work hard on being healthy for that short amount of time to save a child a potential lifetime of serious problems. It's not the like baby has a choice in the matter.
