The headache specialist said they are stress migraines due to post concussion. The neuro surgeon said that headaches are not related with posterier fossa cyst. The neurologist said they are headaches and we need to keep an eye on the cyst. The only thing that they tell us is to take prevenative meds daily. They dont seem to do any good. Now her insurance is no longer covering maxalt so we don't know what that is going to do. They said it isn't growing but no one will give a straight answer on why she is still having major headaches. I fully understand that none of your sources can give me a definite diagnosis. I have considered getting a second opinion however I am not sure how to go about that or where to go in my area since we are at the Children's hospital here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
