Hi Anonymous

If there was a problem with the baby they would have directed you straight to the hospital.

I can't diagnose you, but it sounds an awful lot like you have a prolapse, possibly of your bladder. What sometimes happens when you are pregnant is there is so much crowding and pressure in your abdomen that other organs get pushed down. If your bladder gets pushed down far enough, it might just bulge out of your vaginal canal a bit. There are things they can do to help with this, and it shouldn't compromise your pregnancy at all.

Imagine squeezing a water balloon. (The balloon is your abdomen.) You squeeze it gently, so part of it bulges out the side away from your squeezing hands. That baby is taking up space and increasing pressure in your abdomen, so all the organs that are normally there have to go somewhere, and sometimes that somewhere is straight down.

Try not to worry too much, it's likely another one of the weird things we sometimes go through during pregnancy. I have a feeling it will be just fine, if not a little unnerving. Please let us know how it goes.

Thank you for writing and congrats on the pregnancy!
