Hi Anonymous,
I too have experienced miscarriage. I am deeply sorry for your loss. If you don't mind me asking, how far along were you?
The major cause for missing a period is pregnancy, of course. Beyond that, reasons can be excessive exercise, sickness, medication conflict, and hormone imbalance, among other things.
Since you had a miscarriage and have been under the care of your doctor recently relating to that I think it would be a good idea to keep in close contact with them on this. If you go another week with no period, you may want to take another test or call the doctor to do the blood test. I hope you have good news soon.
Good luck, and keep us posted on what's going on.
