Women's menstrual cycles generally last from 21-35 days. Since you started your last period on October 1st, and just started again today, that makes your October cycle 25 days long. It is within the normal range. It always is a good idea to keep track of your periods on a calendar (paper or virtual) or cycle tracker application on your mobile device (I hear they have them now). Your menstrual cycle can change; it can be light, heavy, short, or long. If you notice bothersome or concerning changes like spotting, missing periods, excessive cramping or blood loss, or going more than 90 days with out periods, etc. you should contact your doctor.
