These are nice ideas to save money on holidays. I try to find new and effective ways to save money, but it's not so easy to come over your habits. But I found a good way to save money without struggling habits. I barter on BarterQuest.com (http://www.barterquest.com/). They offer a nice trading page where you can swap goods, services and real estate. The next holidays you can barter your flat for a flat where you want to spend your holidays. I think it is a nice idea!
