I am taking 65mg of iron twice a day due to low ferritin. I had unprotected sex (condomn slipped off) 12 days after my period started but my partner did not ejaculate inside me. I took the first Next Choice within 3 hours of sex and took the second pill 12 hours later. My cycles are usually 26 days, but last month it was 29 days so I'm not confident I was ovulating at the time. I've never been on birth control prior to this. Could the iron pills interfere with the effectiveness of the Next Choice pills?
