Just to share added statistics: I also had just finished my normal period, had some unprotected contact without ejaculation (but am paranoid because I was told there can be sperm in the pre-ejaculatory fluid), took Next Choice as directed and then freaked out when 6 days later I got what appears to be my period.
Reading this thread has helped me calm down considerably. Thank you to all the scared/nervous ladies for sharing their stories and symptoms, and to the moderators for their soothing and informative responses.
I have an appointment to see my obgyn next week, and we'll be discussing bc options.
