Thank you for such a great question. Charley horses can be very painful and a horrible eye opener in the middle of the night. Have you been exercising? Usually, they are common after you exercise or are lacking potassium in your diet. Staying hydrated and eating bananas should certainly help since you are only 14 years old, you may just be lacking in these things. If the leg cramps persist, you should certainly seek a physicians help but try drinking lots of water and eating bananas. That may help you.
