Sweating can be a pre-menstrual symptom. Pre-menstrual symptoms (PMS) can occur days or weeks before your period, and can change over time.

Some infections can lead to night sweats, as well as medical conditions or medications, but since you have experienced night sweats for a year, and they occur a few days before your period begins, it is most likely PMS-related.

Some women choose to regulate their hormones (what may be causing your night sweats) by using hormonal contraception, and other women choose alternative medicine remedies. If you are not having excessive night sweats, I would not recommend using any supplements that may inadvertently cause other unwanted side effects.

White blood cell counts can be high if our body is fighting an infection, without cause for concern. If your white blood cell count is dangerously high, your doctor would talk with you about the results and conduct further testing.
