Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. How scary, seeing your son faint! I was a fainter when I was younger. Mine was related to hormones. I have a sister who also fainted a lot when she was going through puberty. I'm sure it's a good idea to make sure your son is eating healthy, and drinking enough water regularly to help keep those episodes to a minimum. Keep working with your doctor, or a find a different one to do some tests if the problem persists. Have you noticed any commonalities in when he has these episodes? Is it when he's sick, or when he's stressed? Keep track of this in addition to when the episodes happen and other seemingly related symptoms so when you talk with a doctor you can clearly relate these things.
I also came across this similar ASK that may be of interest: When Children Faint What Could Be the Cause?
Good luck and let us know what you find out and how your son is doing.
