i trained in herbal remedies,echinacea helps build the immune system,so if you start to take ,then hopefuly you can fightions like the common cold better.saying that,only take for 3 month period,then rest for one monthso it can help build resistance but cant cure.this is not medicaly proven,but worked in this field for many years and you soon get to know what works,
i find if you have garlic capsules daily this is also good to fight these infections,if you do get cold or flu,then lots of vit C ,ALSO GARLIC PEARLS.
