Talk with a personal trainer at the gym (you usually can get one session free, or a free "intro to weights"). If the weight training is too tiring and frustrating, you are probably using too much weight. Another option is to participate in one of the classes that is promoted for "building strength", as usually lower weights are used in combination with some type of cardio. Try different classes or talk with a personal trainer to get you started!
