My daughter was born and then at about 3 weeks old her hemangiomas started showing up. She ended up with 6 and now she only has 3 left and she is 4 years old now. The one on her neck was the biggest but I guess from milk getting on her neck when she was a baby it caused it to become ulcerated and was VERY painful for her so we were sent to a dermatologist and they did all kinds of tests and they ended up putting her on a certain type of blood pressure medicine so she had to be seen about every 3-4 weeks and she was on the medicine for about 6 months. It helped so much and caused the hemangioma to decrease in size and also it flattened out and wasn't raised anymore. My daughter also has one on her left vagina lip and its still the same size and raised and she just now complained of it today saying that it stings when she pee's.
