The period you describe is normal for being on birth control. You may want to try to be extra diligent about taking your pill this month, and use a backup method of birth control if you really don't want to get pregnant at this time. If you are really concerned about that test, you can either take another home pregnancy test in a few days, or request a test from your doctor's office to be sure.
