Hi Renee,
A normal cycle for most women is between 21-35 days. It is also normal for some women to completely miss a period.

Since your test results have been confirmed as "not pregnant" (home pregnancy tests are about 99% accurate after a missed period), you can begin looking at other possible reasons for a late/missed period.

To answer your previous questions:
- Plan B does not "mess up" your system with hormones. It is a "mega dose" of hormones, but the same hormones found in birth control pills.
- Plan B can cause a delay in a period, or an earlier period. You are right that most women experience this lateness or delay as about a week.
- All women's bodies are different, and if you are not experiencing any other symptoms, you may have a late or missed period due to stress or other "unknown" reason
- It is very common for women to miss a period; in fact, it is not a medical concern (in the absence of other conditions and symtpoms) until you miss THREE consecutive periods
- Plan B does not cause any iron deficiencies; what leads to a deficiency is loss of blood (not the absence) and not consuming enough foods that contain iron, or are fortified with iron.

It does sound like you were experiencing a light period, and it may be a "different" period this cycle than your normal period. That is OK. Of course, if you are still concerned, please call your doctor for the peace of mind!
