I agree. Healthy fats in moderation are necessary. Those fat free foods on the market often have a sneaky way to still make one fat. It's usually in the way of higher sugar content, often by way of high fructose corn syrup or other corn based sweeteners. If it's not in this manner, there is a higher carbohydrate ratio. And, those artificial sweeteners don't help at all. The brain's satiation center will still be looking for the calories that go with the sweet taste, which is something I learned from watching Dr. Amen's show on PBS.
Some people will also benefit by doing some research about Tyramine Intolerance, because some of the foods mentioned above and in the article are also foods that people can react to if people have Tyramine Intolerance. Knowing about the Tyramine Intolerance connection may even help some people avoid these foods, which can in turn help some people lose weight.
