Since you did get your period (regardless of the length) and you also got a negative hpt test-- you would not be pregnant. By this time, a pregnancy test would pick up the hormones and you would be getting a positive test. I realize that it may not be normal for you to have a light period but there are many things that can affect your period-- stress, diet, etc. Taking another pregnancy test isn't necessary at this point.
