If you are considering having sex again, just make sure to use a condom. You might want to keep the lights on, be more aware of his and your bodies. You can see his erect penis. You can see the condom on his erect penis. You can feel his erect penis. There really isn't any need to prove this...he either has an erection or not. Just be more observant, and you both sound like you may need to slow things down and be intimate in other ways first!
