Parents need to be proactive when it comes to vaccines.
My wonderful doctor decided my son's health was such that he would not be able to handle vaccinations. I moved to Colorado with a medical excemption for my son to start school. I was pressured by the county health even with an excemption. They told me he is older it will be fine.
I caved not knowing my rights and the MMR vaccine about killed him. They called to check on him and when I told them he was delirious with a 104 temp. they never called again. At the time I was working for a Homeopathic MD who had a remedy for him. From that day forward no one has EVER forced vaccinations on my children. My daughter has never received her's and both of my children has never had childhood diseases.
