There is conflicting information regarding personal lubrication, and I wanted to explain what the research says.

Yes, vaginal lubricants may effect sperm motility, but they are still considered "sperm-friendly" in that they do not contain spermicide. Effecting sperm motility by some vaginal lubricants seems as though it is only a negative factor in couples unable to conceive, and other factors may play more of a role (low sperm count, etc).

Even more importantly, do you know why you have vaginal dryness? Have you talked with your doctor about this, as you may want to rule out other reasons for this symptom before trying to conceive.
