You may find that ginger works better sometimes because historically it has been known to treat inflammation whereas turmeric is more of an antiseptic. Although there is no factual evidence that it treats inflammation, if ginger works best for you--that's okay. If you are taking any medication or other natural medicines, just make sure that they are not contraindicated with each other.
