Thanks for your question and for joining EmpowHER. The funny thing with symptoms is that pregnancy symptoms often are similar to pre-menstrual symptoms with only the slightest of differences.
The surest way to know for certain is to take a pregnancy test. I know it may be scary, but it will verify it either way. If the test is negative then you likely are just late or skipping. Make sure to keep track of when you expected your period, when your last menstrual period was, and any symptoms you are having in case you need to relay those to a doctor should you end up needing to see one. If you go without a period for 90 days, a doctor will want to see you so they can figure out what is causing secondary amenorrhea (lack of menstrual period).
