We are in almost the same boat... my biopsies came back that i had moderate dysplasia. I had the LEEP done 1 week ago, & now they say it is severe dysplasia. I did test positive for HPV-16. They tell me the same, that it's not cancer, but when my doctor called today I asked if they got it all out, & she said there was no way of knowing for sure because there was "glandular involvement". I don't like how that sounds either. I had my first abnormal pap in January, & every year prior they have been good. I've had them every year. It's scary how fast they can go from being good to severe dysplasia in one year. :(
