my bf and i look nothing alike, in fact, i always seem to end up dating guys that are complete opposites of me. he is tall, skinny/lanky, with an oval face and puppy dog eyes. i am shorter and curvy, with a round face. i have been with guys who looked more like me, but my past bfs all seem to have these same characteristics. i wonder if this is because people often look for a mate whose traits will ensure that their offspring will have the best balance of genes.
