Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. As far as I know, you're supposed to count the first day of any kind of bleeding, but you may want to ask your doctor's office to be sure. I have read conflicting information on this. Give a quick call to your doctor's nurse, since they are more familiar with your personal reproductive health and may be able to shed some light on when your most fertile days are. You also can purchase ovulation kits to check when you are ovulating. What kind of treatment were you taking?
Here is a similar ASK that may provide some insight: TTC and When to Calculate Menstrual Start Day
Good luck with TTC. I know how it can be when you are trying to have a baby and it doesn't seem to be happening as fast as you would like it to. Hope to hear some good news from you soon.
