Hi again,
As stated in those articles I sent. The chances of getting pregnant without actual naked penis to naked vagina contact is rare. Anytime you do have contact (penis to vagina) there is low risk, but without actual penetration and ejaculation, again, it's rare to get pregnant that way. Sperm can live only minutes outside of the body and die when in dried up ejaculate.
There technically is no "safe time" to engage in sex. Our bodies do not work like clocks, and can be unpredictable--your body can have different menstrual cycles, and could possibly ovulate on a different day. Also keep in mind that sperm can live inside your body for up to 5 days, so if there is ejaculation at the entrance of you naked vagina, you could have some risk.
It has been know that exercise and stress can affect your menstrual cycle, but not sure what changes if you have ovulated or not.
The best thing is to use protection like a condom, birth control pills, or abstain from sexual activity to avoid pregnancy and transmitting STDs.
Hope this all makes sense. Read those articles to learn more, and if you need more information, check out more articles in the pregnancy section, and reproductive system pages of EmpowHER.
