I am sorry that you are going through this bilaterally-- as I can see how stressful it can be to have it in one breast alone. There are two types of cancers-- invasive and non-invasive. Since yours is invasive, meaning "infiltrating" it is possible that the cancer spread from one breast to the other. What kind of prognosis has your doctor given you? Do you have a good support group?
