Hi Blossom,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. I'm not a doctor, but from my own personal experience it seems to me that you have allergies to dust. It is true that if this goes untreated, bouts of allergies can turn into a sinus infection. The bacteria can cause bad breath and that thick phlegm you are talking about. Have you seen a doctor about allergies? You can try wearing a mask or bandana over your mouth and nose when cleaning to avoid breathing in that dust, etc. You also can try taking an anti-histamine product to see if it helps. Additionally, I have found sinus rinse super helpful at keeping allergies from turning into infections. I also have been to a holistic doctor about allergies, and have since been taking supplements that seem to have helped, but you should see your own doctor or dentist first to rule out other conditions that could be causing your problems.

Good luck, and let us know what you find out.
