Good friends are really hard to find! You sound like you are doing good, and I wonder if you have tried any social opportunities where you can meet new people with common interests...some of whom could become "friends" and one of whom could become a "good friend". If you are interested in any type of hobby, activity or organization...these are great ways to meet people!
