Since many parents who travel with their children do not wish to be relegated to a family friendly zone on the plane, maybe instead we could have a section for adults only. Then, all those adults who wish to sit amongst families could do so but there would still be a place for those who prefer not to sit adjacent to the two parents in two seats holding two small children on their laps
