Hi Maryann,
I'm so pleased if this blog opens eyes. My personal perspective is that our modern "advances" have come at huge costs to our health and to the environment. Unfortunately, so long as "cheap" and "quantity of stuff" are what guide consumer purchase decisions, and in the context of no govt regulation, we will be facing endless versions of toxic, health-damaging products.
Unfortunately, I was not able to put links into this blog, but I have posted this blog elsewhere with helpful/informative links that allow you to follow up on each topic and tip.
Re: BPA in recycled paper. Imagine how much of it might be in the recycled toilet paper we use. Again, there are easy alternatives to BPA-coated receipts. If more of us demand the safe version, BPA-coated receipts will go extinct.
Spread the word! And thanks for reading and responding.
