It seems as though we've been taught to believe that men should want to have sex with us all day, every day. However, here at EmpowHer, more and more users have posted the complete opposite. The belief that men are constantly thinking about sex is slowly but surely starting to look like a myth.

One of our readers, Miss_Kitty, shares how sex with her boyfriend has drastically decreased since they first started dating. Miss_Kitty doesn’t know how her sex life went from hot and steamy to barely there and in her post, she seems to have started quite a discussion on why men don’t want to have sex with their girlfriends/wives.

Truth is, there are many reasons why a man no longer wants to have sex with his woman. These include, in no particular order:
1. He’s just not that into you.
2. He’s seeing someone else
3. He’s exhausted
4. It’s a Side effect of his medication
5. He has Low testosterone
6. He’s abusing Drugs/alcohol
7. He’s Stressed
8. He’s Depressed

On the other hand, there are men who are more interested in watching Pornography and masturbating than having sex with a willing girlfriend. Scarlet24 shares her frustration with a boyfriend who makes her feel like she is second in their relationship.

Pornography is very subjective—some like it, some don't. However, there is such a thing as an addiction which can happen to anyone, man or woman but it isn’t fair to label Scarlet24’s boyfriend as an Addict, when we are simply hearing one side of the story. Masturbation and Pornography are topics best left for the couple to work out on their own.
