You are right---there are so many connections within our body, and something as seemingly insignficiant as one hormone that is an elevated level could cause many various symptoms, in many of our bodily functions and systems.

Did anyone discuss your blood test results with you at the health fair? If not, it would be helpful to be re-tested through your doctor's office, so they can look at the entire picture. You can also take your test results to your doctor, and ask for his/her recommendation. From your description, it did not sound like any levels were abnormally out-of-range, but since each lab differs slightly with their range of what is "normal", it would be important to talk with your doctor about follow-up testing if needed.

I am not aware of any kidney function directly leading to abnormal uterine bleeding, however, but we will continue researching to find if there are any known links. Be sure to ask your doctor next week, too!

Please keep us updated!
