Hi Anonymous,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Anytime you forget to take your birth control pills and have intercourse without using a backup method like condoms, abstinence, or withdrawal, you put yourself at increased risk of getting pregnant. Did you make up the missed pills at all?
The bleeding you experienced from the 15th-18th was withdrawal bleeding caused by stopping your birth control. It is pretty common that happens.
It is important you take your birthcontrol as recommended by your health care practitioner, and use a backup method anytime you forget to take your pill. Or get in the habit of using a backup method all the time if you are really concerned about pregnancy.
You will need to wait until your next period comes to verify if you are pregnant or not. You can take a home pregnancy test if you don't get it after a few weeks.

Good luck, and let us know how you're doing.
