Very well written article. After being away from the area where I grew and raised my family for 10 years, Facebook has become a great source of communication for me. I'm able to keep in touch and find out much more about people than I ever knew before. As far as my children, I sometimes feel, like most mothers, that I don't hear from them as much as I'd like and even get a little ticked off if it's over a certain time. But, then I remember that I did the same thing with my own parents and when they'd complain about me not calling them enough, I'd be thinking, "Don't they realize how busy I am?"
So I try to keep that in my mind when I haven't heard from my son in a month. But by then I end up calling him anyway. LOL!
