Totally agree with eating more smaller meals per day to kickstart that metabolism- but really not sure about the sweet-treat options which will only boost sugar levels for them to crash and hunger to return. Love the oatmeal, almonds and low GI stuff- some of the carb crazy options are more for a really naughty day than to be built into your general diet. Eat as close to natural and you won't go too far wrong!
