Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. If you are having unprotected sex, you certainly have a chance of becoming pregnant. You may experience irregular periods and/or unusual symptoms (such as nausea) due to stopping the pill. Your body is getting back to normal without the use of the pill and therefore, your symptoms do not seem out of the ordinary.
In addition, you experienced your symptoms and then had a period. In most cases, having a period is a good thing and says you’re ‘not pregnant’. Since you have not missed a period, I would guess and say you are probably not pregnant. However, there are always instances where you can still have a period and therefore, take the pregnancy test for a peace of mind. Keep us posted on your results.
