Plan B would not be effecting your cycle, since you took it over 2 months ago. A yeast infection would not delay your period, but any new medication you take for it (including antibiotics) could theoretically cause a slight change in your menstrual cycle.

Please know that consuming yogurt will not prevent yeast infections, but most studies suggest that daily consumption of yogurt has shown to help lessen occurrence of yeast infections for some women (other studies have not shown yogurt as being beneficial to yeast infection prevention). Here is more information about yeast infections: https://www.empowher.com/condition/yeast-infection/definition.

If you recently had a vaginal infection, and were given medication by your GYN...it is very important to call your GYN back and let him/her know your current symptoms. Please do not treat this yourself, as you may have a recurring infection, it may not be a yeast infection (there are other vaginal infections that are not yeast infections, but are just as easy to cure...it just takes a specific type of antibiotic). Many doctors prescribe women a "generic" antibiotic that cures most yeast infections. If the medication you were given did not completely cure your infection, it is imperative that you be tested again and given a specific antibiotic to cure your specific infection, so that it will not recur.

Please let us know what your doctor recommends!
