A pregnancy test will pick up the HCG hormone up to 5 days before even missing your period. If you've been having these irregular periods for two months--a pregnancy test would indicate positive by now. If you've never had any of these symptoms and you want to make sure that nothing is wrong, you can go to your doctor and have a blood test done.
