Pro tip: FIND NEW DOCTORS. I am 24. I realized I can just choose to make an appointment with any doctor at any time. Ya know, Monday through Friday 9 to 5. But you can leave a voicemail any time! Also I tend to make some decisions based on my insurance and my limited resources.
Every time I don't mesh with a doctor, or I move, I just get either on google or my insurance website. I search for who is in my area and maybe if they specialize in what I need. Then I call and set up a new patient appointment.
I have felt, many times, that my concerns have been disregarded. I have also felt like i was treated "like a child". I have come across more then one doctor who told me out right that I was lying. Just remember, DOCTORS WORK FOR YOU. If you think you are not being treated in a professional manner fire their ass! You know what's right for you and you get to choose. This is why our health care system is actually cool. Take advantage of your freedom as an adult! You are not supposed to be in pain. Your body is trying to tell you something : ) Good luck. It is so hard for me to decide how to feel about health related situations and who I want to include in my team. You got this : )
