I had depo-provera shots when I was in my 20's and three years ago, around age 40, I started having extreme pain on the lower left abdomin area. It was during the first portion of the orgasm which would prevent me from enjoying this act. It occurred every time. My periods were increasingly getting worse with heavy flow and pain. I finally has a hyteroscopy and fractional Dnc which helped a little. Finally I researched my issues and found my symptoms were related to endometriosis. A laproscopy confirmed this and portions of the area effected were burned off. This helped for about 4-5 months and issues are back again. The only cure is menopause or hysterectomy. It was nice while it lasted. Now my orgasm pain is back again.
