I'm confused by what you have actually been diagnosed with. You mentioned HPV (human papilloma virus), but also mentioned HSV (herpes simplex virus). Was one of these a mistype, or have you been diagnosed with both of these sexually transmitted diseases (STDs?).
I can send you some information about these, as well as what to expect with a colposcopy.
