Linda, thanks for this article, and especially for calling attention to that population of sufferers who has difficulty converting T4 to T3.
Hypothyroidism is complex, and it's not always easy to find a practitioner who is current on the newest standard of care. I don't think it's because they're not interested in practicing great medicine. Rather, I think they simply don't have time to do the research and thus fall back on "Big Pharma's" high-pressure sales pitches for their synthetic hormone subsitutes.
