I had a positive pregnancy test so I scheduled an appointment with my OB/GYN.
If your doctor didn't suggest a D&C it's likely because you expelled all tissue during your one month bleeding. I didn't bleed at all and didn't expel anything, so the D&C was done to avoid the risk of hemorrhaging. That's why if you ever have what seems to be a period for more than two weeks, you should definitely always see your doctor to avoid excessive blood loss.
