The use of antiseptic products with Hidradenitis Suppurativa is a good idea. A careful and gentle scrub with an antiseptic soap, for example, can help keep the area clean and free from harmful bacteria. I would suggest that you do not go overboard trying to keep your area 100% clean, keep in mind that you need normal bacteria on the skin so cleaning once a day should more than suffice. Also, if you have any open lesions, you may want to consult your doctor prior to using an antiseptic.
